Another highlight is the meeting tent. Many people in small residential groups have been separated from their families due to the COVID-19 measures. Tent World has come up with a solution: why not convert the work tents into meeting tents? By installing this tent next to a window that can be left slightly ajar, residents can receive family members at a safe distance, even in cold and/or rainy conditions. It is of great value to be able to see and speak to each other again, even if it is from a short distance. We have donated the first units to De Nachtegaal (part of Esdégé Reigersdaal) in Hoogkarspel and Westerhaven in Hoorn. For healthcare institutions, we only charge the cost price for these meeting tents.
