The Karsten welding umbrella was developed as a practical shield for on-site work. The robust frame ensures a sturdy construction, while the strong fabric offers high tear resistance and withstands intensive use.

The white fabric features a PVC coating on one side and is fully waterproof, flame retardant, and rot-resistant. The fabric allows plenty of daylight through and, thanks to its white color, has minimal impact on color perception under the umbrella. This ensures colors remain easily recognizable, which is particularly practical for tasks where color distinction is vital, such as working with electrical wiring.

The welding umbrella is compact to store and, due to its relatively low weight, easy to transport and quick to set up. Various guy points are provided for extra stability, allowing the umbrella to be secured with the optional peg and guy line set.
